The Roofing Process

Before your old house roof is torn off we protect any large picture windows and shrubbery. The old roofing shingles, flashings, felt paper and nails are all lifted and disposed of. We remove any damaged wood sheathing with ½” exterior grade sheathing. We watch the weather and protect the home with felt paper every evening. Your new felt paper and roofing shingle materials are nailed (not stapled) per the manufacturers recommendations. Additional new roof vents are installed. A thorough cleanup of your property (including gutter cleaning) signifies the end of a successful project. Most new roofing generally takes only a few days to install.
